Stability of steel pile walls and tunnels excavated by shield machines in the urban areas: A case study

Placement of infrastructure and other facilities underground brings superior opportunities for long-term improvements in terms the environmental impact urban areas more efficient use space. This paper presents case study on analyzing steel piles walls tunnels excavated by shield machines area Vietnam change internal forces structures. The research results show that stages basement influence values force tunnel lining. In using composite lining tunnel, thickness concrete 35 cm, frame type I-W1000×883 are applied before nearby basement, 30 cm W1000×350 ribs opposite side. could be to evaluate effects excavation near existing such as geological conditions Ha Noi Ho Chi Minh City future. this analysis also disadvantage it does not consider time well sequence works during excavation. shapes only circular research.
